God is dead

Cage all the pigeons; let vultures sing the song,
Cut all the day, make nights long
Let the dogs make sad cry and make them bark,
Cut off the light, bring again dark

Let the anarchy begin again, let the people shout
Spread the terror, bring all the coffins out
Kill the cow; better eat its meat,
Burn everyone alive, let there be heat

Let the wolves howl again, let the winds blow
Clean the streets now, let the blood flow
Spill blood everywhere, crush everyone's dream
Bring everyone out, let's hear some scream

Make the black cat free and make it run
No more light needed, kill the sun
Bring a catastrophe again, let the Koshi flood
Cut all the blue water, let there be blood

Bring all people out, queue them and kill
Let the terror begin again, bring out the thrill
Bring out all the children and chop off their head
Spread the message god is dead
Spread the message god is dead

Before my body rots

Clouds tell me not to go, storm are coming your way
People telling me to stop if you want to see another day
My dog gives me a strange look, saying there's danger ahead master
She told she looked at the sun in the sky and smelt a disaster

I took a breath and stepped forward for a journey I may never return
There may be people around my photo to take a sad mourn
I must clear my mind and move, but for that I may die
But I can't live like this, every day with cries

If I dare, I may die, if I don't I'll sure
I finally move forward, seeking my life and its cure
They make my grave ready and I take my first step
They told me to wait brother; you're making a big mistake

I can't live like this anymore, it hurts me everyday
Listening myself called a looser and all the things they say
So, I dare to take myself far, a place far, far away
For I want to make a change and find a new way

I went to a strange place, and at first it seemed all wrong
Down I went in my knees, let the tears come
I looked here and there to see myself very far
It won't come that easy; I've got to cross my own bars

I take a long breath and wait and see
The stars conspiring against me
But walk I must and fight till end
Coz that is what life really means

I could sit in sofa set, and think myself a prince
But I dared to move forward to another thrill
They said me I would die first day, look I'm still alive
Fighting, struggling through these winds, all those doubts in mind

So here I am standing strong against the storm and clouds
Though you tried to make me fall, I ain't going down
It all started with crazy thought to make a stride in life
I made it all correct now, thanks to god, I'd not been sigh

I've got to move still far, forget the comforts and coats
Got to go where I belong before my body rots

Friendship Day

With 103°F body temperature, a severe tonsillitis and acute headache looking at the mobile phone if one of my friends will call me to know why I was absent I write an article in my desktop entitled, "Happy friendship day".

The world is always rude and will always be. Now if you are thinking what the hell this guy is talking about, then I am talking about this:

People nowadays are turning into stones. The emotions like love, pity, happiness has all gone and if something is left in these ruthless creature, then it is hatred, shamelessness and stoneness. People can send you SMS to ask you to see your scores at certain examinations, but they can't send it to say, "hi" at times. Yes, now I am also not that type of guy that sends heart on everyone's facebook wall and asks them to send it back if you really like them.(Although I had done it one time). My point the world has become completely insane. You can throw cakes at friendship day but hesitate to share your notes. I have seen people raising their lips showing contempt and giving congratulations. Take that congratulation with you.

You know I have heard a thousand times that a dog is a man's best friend and I always doubted it. But you know maybe that is true. They wag tail at their master only at the time they are happy. But we? We lie always. We lie about the lunch we had, we lie about how much we love each other, we lie about the things we've done. We lie a lot.

If you can, then delete word, "I", replace it by, "we", kill your ego, value love, give smile, share thoughts….. If you can't then, get your ass out of my way. And by the way, if I forgot to say this to anyone, here I am saying, "Happy Friendship Day".

Orientation Speech

(This was the speech I delivered at Orientation in Golden Gate International College in 2068)

Before starting anything, I'd just like to say to all of you that you are safe. You are in safe and capable hands. Chill out. This is the day you have been waiting for ten years and yes I am not going to ruin your first day in college by delivering a long and boring speech. Let me go straight forward here.

No education system provides 100%satisfaction. There is not a college available in the whole nation that you can totally rely on. There is no college that you don't regret after joining it. There are always enough areas for every colleges to point fingers at. Well Golden Gate proves these all statements wrong. And so has it been doing for four mega successful years in the field of education.

For ten years you've been buying, trading, and selling everything you've got in this marketplace of ideas. The intellectual hustle. Your pockets are full of ideas, your brain is full of idea -- and now you've got to figure out what to spend it on. So my question I suppose is: What's the big idea? What's your big idea? What are you willing to spend your moral capital, your intellectual capital, your cash, your sweat equity in pursuing outside of the walls of your school?

I don’t know the answer of the question WHAT? But I can certainly say that you chose the right answer for where to spend on. Good choice guys.

I've learnt to sing the melody line you hear in your own head. I have learnt that I don't owe anybody any explanations. I have learnt that I don't owe my parents any explanations. I don't owe my professors any explanations. You know, I used to think that the future was solid, or fixed, or something you inherited like an old building that you move into when the previous generation moves out or gets chased out. But it's not. The future is not fixed. It's fluid. You can build your own building, or hut whatever.

But my point is that I've learnt the world is more malleable than you think and it's waiting for you to hammer it into shape. Now if I were a -- a folksinger I'd immediately launch into "If I Had a Hammer" right now, get you all singing and swaying. But as I say I am a part of a sweet family called Golden Gate, so I'd rather have the bloody hammer right here in my fist and hammer it with I've all got to make my own future.

And finally, many times along the way you’re going to ask why. Why am I on this path? What is it all about? You’ll ask yourself those questions in 10 years and in 20 years as often as you’re asking them now. Well … I have an answer for you. It’s all about winning. That’s right, winning. But I’m not talking about the most points, or toys, or market share. I’m talking about winning in a contest with your own potential. I’m talking about believing in yourself enough not just to become doctors or engineers but to become the best, engineer or doctor you can possibly be. I’m talking about never measuring your success based on the success of others – because you just might set the bar too low. I’ve learned that it’s possible to set your sights high and achieve your dreams and do it with integrity, character, and love. And each day that you’re moving toward your dreams without compromising who you are, you’re winning. Look around you. You really are winning.

Now I know I blew some of your minds with my depiction of what it's really like out there. But if anyone can handle the ups and downs of this crazy blue marble we call Planet Earth, it's we guys. As I stare out into this vast sea of shining faces, I see the best and brightest. Some of you will be captains of industry and business. Others of you will go on to great careers in medicine, law and public service. Four of you -- and I'm not at liberty to say which four -- will go on to magnificent careers in the porno industry. I'm not trying to be funny. That's just a statistical fact.

As you stand here tonight, you are at the starting point of a wonderful journey. But it’s a journey that can only begin with your decision to embark. We are at a nation of un accomplishment. But the unspoken requirement of a commencement is that you now must commence. There are countless contributions and achievements that never occurred, all due to a failure to begin.

So, orientation class of 2068, now if you don't remember a thing I said, then remember this, you are going to be fine. The college you chose whether knowingly or unknowingly is the best college you could have ever chosen.

 You can chill now. Now comes time for the two best words everyone wants to hear in speech;

Thank you.

I wish politicians weren't blind and deaf

We cannot live on the shadow of sky scrapers to see the shadow become longer every week even at noon. We cannot. We cannot be satisfied to light a candle in world's second richest country of fresh water resource. We cannot be content to see ourselves living in the nation where 77%of the people are living under absolute line of poverty(according to new research in Oxford University). A country with such huge differences, unequal distribution of opportunities , resources and wealth can never commit that our tomorrow won't be like today.

We have always been told that there will always exist a monster in form of inequality, in every societies, in every communities in every corners and societies. Brothers, be aware this is a lie. And what is the truth is that we are being cheated everyday, every week, and everytime by these fucking politicians. We are acting like stupid ass who walks when a carrot is placed in front of him, hoping he can eat it. Dear politicians be aware, we aren't ass.

We cannot just be silent and watch these all like motionless statues.

Did you forget? About three years back an Indian police enters in Neplese land, rapes a girl in front of her mother, kills the mother and threatens other people. Government silent, we silent.

Did you forget the flood in Koshi? Poor ones lost their lives, their homes, their land. Government took it as a golden opportunity to take bribes. The opposition party took it as a golden opportunity to turn people against it.

Did you forget? About two years back a woman killed her own husband and ate his meat sue to acute poverty in western Nepal.

Leave those issues, people here are commiting suicides because of poverty. People are dying like animals. Their carcass is cleared from the road only in ,'Savari' of fucking leaders.

We have always been told to be patient and be calm. We have always been told that what happens, happens for good. We have always been told that it is ok to tolerate at times. Brothers, lets break that barrier today. There are something for which you must loose your patience, there are something which you must not tolerate. This is that thing. Tolerating a sin is even a bigger sin. Let the red blood make its way in your veins. Stand up and raise yourself now.

Yes, we can never create an exactly equality based society. We cannot. Everyone having exact number of cars or gizmos is impossible to create. But what we should be assured of is that the person on the same society, one rich undergoes kidney transplantation and the other dies in absence of paracetamol does not happen. What we should be assured of is that no two boys should exist in society among which one goes to school and other goes to sell tea. What we should be assured is that the willing and capable will be at right post. What we should be assured is that Nepal is a common property of all of her citizen. All the resources, opportunities, wealth of the nation must be divided equally among all the people irrespective of which colour of the flag they hold. We should be assured of better tomorrow, a tomorrow where social responsibilities are ingrained in DNA of the people, we should be assured of tomorrow where we can sit together in the same round table of economy, social status, honor, and satisfaction.

Why kids shouldn't obey their parents?

If kids obey their parents, whatever they say, what on earth is the difference between kids and parents? I am a different person and I have my own traits which my parents have helped me grow and now they want me to change all that?

Why should I follow someone else's ideas when I am pretty sure which direction to go? As hard as they try, they can't be our friends. They can be friendly but not friends. We don't expect our mom dad to be our friends. They are our parents, someone we look upto. They are here to protect us and to give us enough conscience to distinguish between the good and evil. Once they have done that with all they could, they should let their kids do the rest. Isn't it funny that parents teach kids to speak in the first few years and then try to teach them to shut up in the later years? If you don't follow your own paths, fall and get up again, what are you going to learn in your lives?

Does, not obeying our parents make us bad kids? No. It makes us different from what they have thought we are but that's not a crime! All I want to trickle down to your minds is that we are at first who we are. That is our first hand identity. Only then we are sons or daughters. The secondary identity is important but not as the first one, at least not at the cost of our primary identities. I love my mom and dad .So do you. They are the best parents you can ever ask for. But we don't want them to be our job counselors, or drivers of our lives' cabs, or our managers. It is their role to teach us how to drive cabs, not to sit in the driver's seat and apply brakes and turn wherever they think is appropriate. This is our cab and once we have license to drive it, we want to enjoy the drive, the thrill of fast turns, the slow pace at traffic jams, the peek-a-boo with other drivers, to fill the petrol by ourselves, run out of it, fill it up again, race with others, and even if we somersault at roads at times, it's okay with us as long as we are alive coz these are the roads we have chosen to take. We fall but we get up. And there's pride in it than never falling by catching someone else's hands.

I don't want to sound like a rebellious teen, neither am one. Even now that am matured enough, my mom and dad at times don't trust my instincts and it hurts. And answer to the title. We don't obey our parents all the time coz we know where we are heading for. And even though we are not too sure of it, we are sure of what we don't want. We may fail but at our own hands. And that is okay coz by now, we have already known how to rise up on ourselves. Mom and dad, I love you guys!

When I die

When I die, people will talk about me. My father will say I had made him proud and my mother will say I was the best son ever. My sister will cry and tell out everyone how a wonderful brother I had been. My friends will talk about all the good things I had done to them. My teachers will tell I was a great student and my neighbors will say I was a great boy. My relatives will tell their kids to be like me. My college will give a holiday and in the announcement it will say, "On the sudden demise of our beloved student……." Even those who are not friends with me now will want to know me better.

After one week I die, my parents will still be in huge grief. My sister will still cry. My friends start to talk new topics. My teachers will not even notice the empty seat. My relatives will be angry at me because of the salt less food they have to eat for thirteen days. The notice of my condolence from the notice board of the college will be thrown in the dustbin. Those who had just heard my name after I had died will forget me.

After one month, my sister and my father will be telling my mother to cope up with life. My friends will unfriend me from the facebook. The chair of my room from the class will be taken out somewhere. My name will be deleted from the attendance copy of my college, and so will my name be deleted from the heart of most of my friends. My relatives will not even think about me. The notice board of the college will rather be filled with some other scribbles.

When I am living, my father tells me of the scores some others scored in their exam and he wants me to be one of them. My mother doesn’t like the way I do my stuffs. My sister fights with me in such small stuffs. My friends think I am way more proud. My teachers don’t know that I am one of their students. My relatives just damn care me. My college recalls me only in the time to pay the dues and fees.

For the girl who smiled at me on the subway

Dear girl,
I don’t know your name but I know you brush your teeth with pepsodent. I don’t know who was with you that day; I therefore assume he was your brother though I have rarely seen brothers and sisters walking with arms around their shoulders. But I am not too sure if he was really your brother, he rather looked like your sister. He had long hair, huge ear rings just exactly like a girl. But still he is your brother and I should not stuff like that. I didn’t know one more thing. I didn’t know the reason you were holding Nokia1200 mobile, dear, what's the use of the torch of that Nokia mobile, when you yourself can generate 12000volts of electricity in a smile? I think you should launch a hydropower project of your own.

Yes, I was not too dumb to know that you were suffering from fever. I can understand that the fever was too severe, so you were wearing very short skirts, since you had high body temperature. I hope you will get well soon. But dear, it is not good to eat ice-cream in fever. I didn’t understand why your brother didn’t tell you about this. There is a free advice I would want to give you, your lips are really red. But please don’t allow your brother to touch them like you did when you were smiling at me. People will interpret it in a wrong way. Yes, I know this society is very orthodox, but, what can we do??

There is something more I have to say. I will certainly give you clips to hold your hair, the next time. Because I noticed that your hair disturbs you a lot and though the wind was not blowing so hard, you had to arrange your hair one hundred and fifty three times in only seventeen minutes. Yes, I know there is not a single shampoo of good quality available in the market but I hope you will ask your brother to buy a rather good shampoo than a red lipstick like you did from the super market that time. Again a free advice, you can put oil in your hair, it makes your hair stronger. My mother told me so.

There are still many things I would want to say to you. I hope you will reply to this letter and give me your number. Although I usually see you with your different brothers almost everyday don’t forget to say my best regards to each of your brothers. I hope of hearing from you very soon.
Sincerely,
The boy for whom you smiled

Learn to walk alone

Learn to walk alone because, all the hands you are holding now will disappear and you will cry in this inhuman earth and no one will ever give a shit. Learn to walk alone because no one in this selfish world is ever going to bear the burdens for you, no one is going to hold your hands when you need it the most.  It is you and only you who have to make it through. Learn to drive your own cab, because if you don’t, others will drive and you have to go where it leads.

I'd rather walk alone and fall a thousand times, and still give a shot to walk rather than cry at being left alone. I will try to solve my problems myself. I will try to be so strong that nothing can ever disturb the peace of my mind. I will try to be the best me I can possibly be and I will just let the other things go for I believe that I have bigger issues to worry than why my friends didn’t call me for movies.

I will learn to walk alone simply because it will make me stronger. Neither will I feel left out when my friends don’t invite me in their birthdays, nor will I be hurt by phone calls they didn't make. I will learn to walk alone because I want to know the man standing in front of the mirror, better. I want to know his full strength, capacity, sagacity, persistence and discipline. This man looking right at me is the man who I should be proud of. I don’t want this man to cry in front of others begging their help and their pity on him.

No saints and Santa live in this world. This world is not that clean as it appears to. So, pals learn to be your own best friend. Rely on your own shoulders. Trust in your own instincts. For there is no one in this earth that wants you to be better, than you yourself.

Why Nepal isn't USA

Nepal is not USA because we talk big, we think small. We have core i5 processors in computers but our thoughts are not even fast as Pentium 4. Nepal is not USA because we are lazy people. We open mouth and talk, blah blah blah. We talk, we talk way too much. Nepal is not USA because there is a monster deeply rooted in our minds that makes us sleep easy inside our comfort zones. Nepal is not USA because we still have enough patience and time to listen to the bullshit that political parties throw upon us. No matter how big we talk we are people living in fear. We live in fear of society, fear of oneself going against it, fear of being accepted. We pretend to see and listen but you know what we are? Blind and deaf. We act helpless even after knowing our land's being encroached upon. Nepal is not USA because we still have very narrow mind, fighting amongst ourselves just like dogs fight for a piece of bone.

And Nepal can't be USA because people here don’t want to make Nepal USA. We can set strikes in rainy days, in hot sun, in freezing cold. But we can't seal drainage leaked beneath our house. USA recycles waste, we can't even dump the waste. Education of USA produces able and efficient people, education of Nepal produces literate people. Nepal can't be USA because people never think of generating new ideas. Our technologies are still way back in 80's; we live in 80's and we are the latest version of Homo sapiens using xerox of smart phone that America created and China copied. The main fact is we still pretend to be alright. Our leaders are enjoying our tax for no work. We people have no complaints. Our kids will have no water to drink, still we are happy thinking we can afford to buy water from tanks when the government had to at least provide us with drinking water. KTM city is drowning in plastic and yet we are happy that we have many mushrooming malls. Our mountains are melting and we are happy buying India made Santros. Our syllabi are two hundred years old, still satisfied. People from other part of the world have conquered moon, we got no roads to Jumla. Stillcontent. When will we realize that all we are doing is setting a deadly time bomb for ourselves and the generation to come?

The truth is we suck as countrymen and we suck as the new world human. Go on, flare more of bravery Bhakti Thapa showed in the Anglo Nepal war. Flare more of the "8848m". What else you've got upon your sleeves? Nothing. Too poor!!So screw nuts of brain right now..
