Why Nepal isn't USA

Nepal is not USA because we talk big, we think small. We have core i5 processors in computers but our thoughts are not even fast as Pentium 4. Nepal is not USA because we are lazy people. We open mouth and talk, blah blah blah. We talk, we talk way too much. Nepal is not USA because there is a monster deeply rooted in our minds that makes us sleep easy inside our comfort zones. Nepal is not USA because we still have enough patience and time to listen to the bullshit that political parties throw upon us. No matter how big we talk we are people living in fear. We live in fear of society, fear of oneself going against it, fear of being accepted. We pretend to see and listen but you know what we are? Blind and deaf. We act helpless even after knowing our land's being encroached upon. Nepal is not USA because we still have very narrow mind, fighting amongst ourselves just like dogs fight for a piece of bone.

And Nepal can't be USA because people here don’t want to make Nepal USA. We can set strikes in rainy days, in hot sun, in freezing cold. But we can't seal drainage leaked beneath our house. USA recycles waste, we can't even dump the waste. Education of USA produces able and efficient people, education of Nepal produces literate people. Nepal can't be USA because people never think of generating new ideas. Our technologies are still way back in 80's; we live in 80's and we are the latest version of Homo sapiens using xerox of smart phone that America created and China copied. The main fact is we still pretend to be alright. Our leaders are enjoying our tax for no work. We people have no complaints. Our kids will have no water to drink, still we are happy thinking we can afford to buy water from tanks when the government had to at least provide us with drinking water. KTM city is drowning in plastic and yet we are happy that we have many mushrooming malls. Our mountains are melting and we are happy buying India made Santros. Our syllabi are two hundred years old, still satisfied. People from other part of the world have conquered moon, we got no roads to Jumla. Stillcontent. When will we realize that all we are doing is setting a deadly time bomb for ourselves and the generation to come? 

The truth is we suck as countrymen and we suck as the new world human. Go on, flare more of bravery Bhakti Thapa showed in the Anglo Nepal war. Flare more of the "8848m". What else you've got upon your sleeves? Nothing. Too poor!!So screw nuts of brain right now..
